When I started at Major Legal Services in 1994, soon after graduating from CWRU School of Law and passing the Ohio Bar exam, I did not necessarily think that I would make a career in the Legal Search Consultant business. In fact, specializing exclusively in the temporary and direct hire placement of attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants and other legal support professionals was a brand new concept in N.E. Ohio at that time.
Twenty plus years later, I can truly say that I have found my calling in this industry. Most attorneys realize that the practice of law is about serving the public through the analysis and interpretation of the law. I also feel rewarded and excited about the daily opportunity to serve the legal community both by assisting candidates to identify the next steps in their career path, and by helping our law firm and in-house counsel clients identify the talent best suited to their own unique culture and needs.

I joined Major Legal Services in 1996 after graduating with a degree in paralegal studies. At that time I didn’t know much about the staffing and recruiting industry but wanted to use all resources available to me to find a legal position and start my professional career. Ironically rather than placing me in a position with a client I was asked to work in-house at Major Legal Services.
Although working as a recruiter was not my original career path I do feel it is a perfect fit. I have the opportunity to work with talented legal professionals on a daily basis. I truly enjoy building relationships with candidates who are seeking employment and clients by assisting in solving their hiring needs.
Senior Search Consultant
As a practicing attorney for fourteen years and counting, I have always enjoyed the hiring process at my law firm. I often heard many of my friends and colleagues grumbling about how they have horrible experiences and results with their hiring needs, and wondering how it worked so well for me. I now act as a consultant for law firms, companies, banks, and any other organization that wants and needs an advisor on their hiring needs.
On the side I am an Adjunct Law Professor in the areas of Business Law and Debtor/Creditor Law, in addition to some Honors Courses. I have been an Ohio Super Lawyer Rising Star for years. I leverage all of these experiences in an effort to match law firms and businesses with the perfect candidate while also ensuring I provide candidates with an array of legal opportunities that best suit their interests and preferences. I put a true focus on quality and efficiency so that everyone is truly matched with the best fit to create a stronger team and a better future.
